1. What are the product offerings?
The offering for the new 1Mbps package RM38 is as below:

2. How much is the monthly fees?
The package fees is RM38 per month (RM 40.28 inclusive of GST) for 1Mbps 1GB.
3. Is there any pre-requisite for customers before subscribing to this package?
The residential must have TM fixed line. For customers with no existing TM fixed line, they have to apply and install a new line.
4. Is there any upfront payment required?
There is no upfront payment.
5. What will happen when the 1GB isfully utilized?
Service will be discontinued upon reaching 1GB capping until the first date of every month. There will be no data volume top up option for this package. Your Internet connection will be throttled to 128kbps.Heavy data users have the option to upgrade to 1Mbps unlimited at RM110 package that gives better value(inclusive of voice call plan). Customer can apply 1Mbps unlimited at TMPoint, self-care portal and 100.
6. Can customer check the Internet quota utilization?
Customer cannot view their Internet quota utilization. However they will be notified when the usage reaches 80% and 100% of the utilization.
7. Who can subscribe to this package?
This package is open to all nationwide with no income capping.
8. When will this package will be available?
This package will be opened for registration on 16th June but provisioning will be available on 25 June 2015.
9. How do I subscribe to this package?
Customer may apply this package at any TMpoint outlets nationwide.
10. How long is the contract period for this promotion?
The contract period is for 12 months for the 1Mbps package.
11. What are the charges on the Fixed Line service for the 1Mbps package?
Customer will be charged on normal published rate. For further details, kindly refer to https://www.tm.com.my/Home/voice/access/Pages/long-distances.aspx
12. What if customer terminates the service before the end of the contract term?
It is recommended for customer to continue with the service as there will be penalty fees for early termination before the end of the contract period. The penalty fee is as below:
· RM350 for Broadband 1Mbps 1GB capping
13. What customers can do with 1GB data volume?
These are among the examples on what customers can do online with the 1GB data volume:
a. Surf the internet for 44 hours
b. Watch your favorite videos & your favorite TV channel online within2 hours
c. Send/receive 200,000 emails with 300 characters
d. Talk on Skype’s video chat for 4 hours
e. Facebook for 51 hours
14. How long will this promotion package valid?
Promotion is valid until further notice.
15. Will TM existing customers be automatically migrated to the new package?
There will be no automatic migration for Streamyx 1Mbps existing customers.
16. Can TM existing customersapplyfor these packages?
Yes, TM existing customers can apply for these packages subject to Streamyx and UniFi Terms and Condition; for example contract renewal and HyppTV early termination penalty charges.
17. Can customer check the Internet quota utilization?
Customer cannot view their Internet quota utilization. However they will be notified when the usage reaches 80% and 100% of the utilization. For 80% utilization, customer will be redirect to landing page https://www.tm.com.my/notifyme and for 100% utilization, customers will be redirect to https://www.tm.com.my/notifymeagain.
18. Why customer didn’t get notification on the quota utilization/ not redirect to any landing page of quota notification?
Customer will not be redirected to landing page if browsing on ‘https’ URL, therefore if customers experience slow browsing, they are advised to browse any URL that starts with “HTTP” so that they will be redirected to a landing page for confirmation of quota reaches 80% or 100% utilization.
19. Will the existing customers on Streamyx RM88 package automatically migrated to the new RM38 package?
Existing Streamyx customers on RM88 package will not be automatically migrated to the new package due to different product features. Customers who wish to enjoy the new pricing need to apply to the new RM38 package.
20. Will customer get telephone set for this Streamyx Lite 1Mbps?
Telephone set is not provided.
21. If customer migrates from existing DEL with rental, will the DEL rental waived?
Yes, the rental is waived.
22. If customer has existing DEL under different name and he/she subscribe this package under his/her name, will the DEL rental waived?
Yes, the rental is waived.

This package is open to all Malaysian citizens nationwide with no income capping.
4. When will this package will be available?
This package will be available on 15 July 2015.
5. How do I subscribe to this package?
Customer may apply this package at any TMpoint outlets nationwide.
6. How long is the contract period for this promotion?
The contract period is 24 months for the 10Mbps package.
7. What if customer terminates the service before the end of the contract term?
It is recommended for customer to continue with the service as there will be penalty fees for early termination before the end of the contract period. The penalty fee is as below:
· RM500 for New UniFi VIP 10 unlimited
8. How long will this promotion package valid?
Promotion is valid until further notice.
9. Will TM existing customers be automatically migrated to the new package?
Only existing customers that are subscribing UniFi VIP 10 (basic) package without any HyppTV premium channels subscription will be automatically migrated to the new 10Mbps package and enjoy the 10% reduction.
10. Can TM existing customers apply for these packages?
Yes, TM existing customers can apply for these packages subject to Streamyx and UniFi Terms and Condition; for example contract renewal and HyppTV early termination penalty charges.
11. Will customers able to get the new discounted package UniFi 10 at RM179 if they are currently subscribing UniFi plans now?
Only customers who subscribe to UniFi 10 (Basic) without any HyppTV premium channels subscription will enjoy the new discounted price in July 2015. However, customers on other packages are not able to enjoy the discounted pack.
12. Will the discounted price applicable to customers who subscribe to Ja-Jumbo VIP 10 promotion?
No, customers who subscribe to Ja-Jumbo VIP 10 are not eligible for the discount.
13. Do existing customers need to submit new application form in order to enjoy the reduced price for UniFi 10?
Existing customers on UniFi VIP10 (Basic) without any HyppTV premium channels subscription do not need to submit new application to enjoy the reduced UniFi 10 price. However, other customers need to submit new application in order to enjoy the new package, subject to UniFi terms and conditions and early termination penalty charges will be applied (if applicable).
14. For existing UniFi VIP 10 (Basic) customers; will they be subjected to contract renewal when the price is adjusted to RM179 in July?
Yes, their contract will be automatically renewed once the price is adjusted to RM179 in July.
15. Will customers get the same package features as existing UniFi VIP 10 when they subscribe to the new UniFi 10 packages?
Yes, the features for new UniFi 10 package will be the same as current UniFi VIP 10 package.
16. Can customers get 1 month free subscription if they subscribed the new UniFi 10 through online?
Unfortunately, online portal is not part of our channel for the time being. Customers can only subscribe to this through TMpoint outlets.
17. Is there any income criteria that is required before subscribing to these packages?
No, there will be no level of income criteria that will be imposed to customers before subscribing to this package. The packages are open to all Consumers.
18. Will I get the reduced price if I subscribed to other packages other than the new UniFi 10 RM179?
No, other packages’ prices will remain the same. Please refer to the latest promotion on UniFi and Streamyx at our outlets to know more on other packages.
